The Best Practices – Building Materials Reuse Industry project was developed and funded by the Center for Resource Conservation (www.conservationcenter.org), a Boulder, CO based 501(c)(3). The project is intended to spotlight exemplary operations, guide those wishing to become better, and provide a framework for facility and industry improvement. Best Practice documents in other industries have seen rapid acceptance and quick adoption, resulting in profound business advancements. Here at CRC we feel that material reuse best practices are as unique as each facility, but that we all stand to gain from the lessons and experiences of those operating these businesses.
To complete this process in a timely and efficient manor, CRC contracted the services of Point380 (www.point380.com), a professional consulting firm specializing in energy efficiency, climate policy and carbon management.

We would like to thank you, the industry participants, for your willingness and openness to help with this wiki site. If one thing is apparent across the industry, it is the shared desire for industry advancement and its benefits for all.
