Opening & Closing Competition
Tags:
The Opening and Closing Competition is a for students and occurs once a year. This is a sectional competition (we compete against other schools in our section) to have the best team to memorize and present the scripts for opening and closing an FFA meeting. It is located at different schools each year. There are six to a team and may consist of all Greenhands or teams of all others and the current officer team. A team consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter and Sentinel.
The Booster Club provides transportation to and from the event, usually from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Students competing should dress in uniform (see Wiki for Dress Code). Greenhands do not necessarily need an official FFA jacket, but should wear the rest of the uniform.
