What do you want to be after two years?
That is a very interesting question, but have you really thought about what you are going to do or pursue once you have finished your 2 years as a caregiver?
A lot of us have all the skills and talents to achieve something better in the future. But since we are starting anew in a foreign land, sometimes we get confused or even missing the confidence to continue. This is the main inspiration of CareBuddies™, that through friendship, we will be able to overcome all the challenges and work together to be prepared and get better in the future. There is so much a friendship could offer: diverse talents and skills are powerful tools to accomplish a lot of things.
Remember that you do not have to pay anything. Joining is free, but benefits are endless. This is our way of helping out those who are new in Canada to adjust and meet other newcomers and newly permanent residents who are wishing to have more friends.
Why you should join:
· First of all, it is free! We do not collect any registration fee, because this is just a friendship club.
· If you like meeting people, then we encourage you to try and join us.

Benefits of joining: These are just a few of the tremendous advantages that we can get
* We will learn a lot of things while having fun to prepare ourselves after 2 years of working as a caregiver.
* Meet new friends with same interests as you. You might be able to meet somebody who speaks your language or came from your own town.
* Parties, get together, field trips, fun tours, and many more.
* You can enhance knowledge by attending different free trainings and seminars with your new found friend
* You will have a new Buddy to call when you need someone to talk to.
* There will be a lot of gatherings where you can share things about your work, your country, etc.
* This is just a simple way of meeting new people.
* If you love volunteer work or if you want to volunteer to gain experiences in different fields then we can arrange it for you.
* As a friend, we will help each other out by giving advice, tips, encouragement, etc.
* Assisting each other or sharing things that we know, like our hobbies and interests
* Sharing, so that we will understand what you believe in, what your cultures are, simply about YOU.
* So much more in store for us, and we want YOU to discover other things with US.
* And at CareBuddies™ , we know FUN! Among the activities and fun adventures in store for everyone:
o Weekend gimmicks: movie, outdoor stuff -- roller blading, cycling, stroll in the park, ball games, lawn bowling, tennis, badminton, volleyball, etc. / Indoor games and activities like crafts, cooking, card games, anything and everything that is fun, enjoyable, recreational and also, educational.
o Free time actions: Park or museum tours, educational trips to different places of interests
o Volunteering: Share a few minutes or hours of your time to cheer someone up, like the elderly and the children through our volunteer program. We have partners in different institution to give each interested members the chance to experience something amazing and to have the greatest adventure in life ever -- helping others
If the person is living in different province , she or he could be your pen pal, or you can use internet to connect with each other.
