I do not believe it is a matter of "where has everyone gone", but rather what
is everyone doing. There are so many activities going on in the lives of
each and every believer right now. The Church (the body of Christ) is
under spiritual attack, and has been since the creation of man. There is
an ever present enemy "seeking whom he may devour". He is still at large
and consuming so much of our time; time we should be spending not only with
God, but with one another. "But
if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship
with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." (1
John 1:7) So,
let's step into the light, the Light of Life and join one another so that we
may build up one another in these evil times. So
encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. (1
Thessalonians 5:11)
Thank you, brother Holmin, for not forgetting your calling.
In Christ the Lord,
Clint Ryan Finley (CRaFt4Christ)

To be very honest I abandoned any hope of developing a cohesive body such as is
hoped for here. After several years of witnessing fall aways, smear campaigns,
false witness and theological arguements I realized that the only solid ground
is the historic traditions of the Church and its historic structures. Thus I
adhere strictly to an orthodox Anglo-Catholic faith and practice now. I
honestly feel that anything other than historic church bodies is merely playing
church.

Father A, What is the driving force for you to
hold or continue membership
in a group like
this, if you so vehemently disagree
with our practices?
What benefit is it, for you to lurk about
in a group and be non-participatory?
Do you have your own agenda, or plan in
motion?
It is the lack of effort, and half hearted
commentaries by "passers by" or lurkers,
that act as a cancer to the greater body
as well as this group.
We will not stand by to be infected. We
are proactive about our membership.
When someone disappears, or simply walks
away. They are noticed, and we do follow-up.
Inactivity in a group, and negativity
toward those who have vision,
direction and focus, are of no
value.
While I can appreciate your experience and
observation, I see little point in your post.
Though you have thrown in the towel, it is
clear that not everyone shares your position,
nor are they opting to surrender to the
larger corporate church because the majority
are doing it this way or that way.
Either we are or we are not, of this world.
We can't have it both ways.
This is a large reason why the COTACF will
never be a mega-church body.
What we have and what we teach, is not for
everybody.
More specifically, Not everybody can or
will embrace what we have and teach.
It is difficult, it will cause one to look
inside themselves, and their life.
There will be sacrifice, and it may shake
what they have been taught their whole life.
It will cost you more than you ever
thought you would put out, but the total sum must be shelled out
anyway.
Thank you for responding to this
message.
In Christ,
Bp. Joe

Dear Father A:
This site is for any who want to interact.
Membership in this site is just that, it does not denote official church
membership, this site is for informational and social
purposes. Official communication of the synod of this church is
entirely private. We do care, and do follow up on people who leave, but in
this group they are free to do so. We routinely cull out those who do
not participate.
Blessings,
++Timothy
