Port Authority Regulations - Landing Pads ((Landing pad guidance))
Port Authority Regulations - Landing Pads ((Landing pad guidance))
EAVESDOWN DOCKS PORT AUTHORITY REGULATIONS
The Landing Pad Rental Areas are intended for people to rez Starships, Airships, Aircraft or other Vehicles in as part of Roleplay.
AUTORETURN IS ENABLED - please contact Duncan Cooperstone or Gabe Yazimoto to be added to the group so your prims do not get returned
- Please try to ensure your ship is roughly centered on the marked landing pad area and does not cover other areas. Obviously as ship designs are different some ships will protrude over this boundary. the Landing pad is there as a rough guide.
- IF HOWEVER - any of the sim's scenery (containers etc) have ended up inside your ship then please let Duncan Cooperstone or Gabe Yazimoto know and the problem will be rectified
as soon as possible. - The prim allowance for landing areas is indicated in hovertext on the rental terminal for each area. The allowance is high enough to allow for most detailed builds. If you have a highly detailed ship and would like to have a higher prim allowance please contact Duncan or Gabe.
- You are encouraged to rezz any items you wish around your ship (landing gear, gangways, cargo, maintenance equipment etc) to give a functional 'feel' to the landingvarea (but please stay within your allotted prim count).
- The rental terminals have a maximum rental period of 5 days. This is to allow others to have a chance to rent a landing area and to ensure the landing pad is actively
changing and 'alive'. If you wish to rent the space on a more permanent basis please contact Duncan Cooperstone and/or Gabe Yazimoto - Ships which are badly positioned, rezzed in non-rental areas or which are in areas where the rental has expired will be returned without warning.
- Ships which are causing lag due to scripts running on them will be returned without warning. Ships which use public chat as a command interface and/or which have an active security system which is sensing avatars nearby usually consume precious sim resources and cause a degree of lag. If at all possible please try and switch off any such systems
while the ship is landed.
