Hello my name is Raine Hilton and I’m known as The Good Vibes Girl. Why did I choose this name? Well quite simple because I spend my life in the pursuit of the so called good vibes and in the eradication of the bad variety. You see to my mind no matter what your reason for seeking me out, the end result will be a wish to feel good and a change from negative to positive. Yes I am only too aware of the Hippy Trippy sound to the term Vibes and to be honest hearing that word always makes me smile and if that’s not the essence of good therapy I want to know what is? I am a Past Life Therapist and a Registered Counsellor with the charity Counselling and abide by their rules and regulations known as CCC Counselling Code of Conduct. I have worked online for many years, co-running healing and spiritual development websites and also hosting in live chat rooms. The ability and ease with which healing energy can be transmitted through a medium such as the Internet never fails to amaze me. Proving that distance never proves a barrier when healing or sending attunements to someone. The Order of Bards Ovates & Druids is a spiritual group dedicated to practising, teaching, and developing Druidry as a valuable and inspiring spirituality. There are three grades within the order and I myself am a student of the Bardic grade. From an early age if I saw others in pain, or distress I would lay my hands on them in order to ease their suffering. This was always very much an instinctive thing, not calculated, or reasoned, just born of the moment and the need. As an adult I decided to add discipline to my healing practice and so I made the choice to add structured forms of healing so that I could offer far more than just instinctive assistance. I have since those times become a certified crystal healing practitioner, complementary healthcare therapist and a colour therapist as well as master teacher in various healing forms and systems. After all the years of study healing is still very much my passion, but now I am free to also enjoy the freedom of choice, so I am able to make sure those I help are guaranteed the very best in care and attention. I also offer attunements to the healing systems I myself use, as well as certain empowerments I am attuned to. Therapy and healing to me are not something you can just learn and then put into practice. Each person is unique and I like to treat each one the way I would like to be treated myself and that put simply is special. I have many styles and variations of working with people, again I work with people alongside them helping them to discover the right approach that they need in order to reach that happy healthy place where we all want to be. I use crystals, not because they’re pretty, yes they are, but I use them because they have amazing healing properties and most of all because they work. Every single technique I use works, if something I try doesn’t work, then its out, pure and simple, life is too short to waste peoples time, my own included and there is too much playing to get through in one short lifetime. Believe me if I could heal using chocolate and a few affirmations, then I would, wouldn’t that be cool? The problem is that people are different, remember the unique principle I mentioned earlier? What works for one person, won’t always work for another. So I have many different weapons in my armoury. I firmly belive that you never stop learning, healing techniques are constantly evolving and so must we as healers. Card Readings I have been involved in both healing & card reading for such a very long time. During childhood I was what could be termed a nature witch, for I drove my parents to despair by throwing my clothes off and dashing outside each time we had a thunderstorm. Something in the stormy weather called to an instinctive part of my nature. I can still see myself on lazy summer days sitting out in the garden by the flowerbeds making up my own charms and spells, all my own ideas, but inspired from an old book of fortune telling and the mysterious. As a young girl I took to reading playing cards and became very good at it, so good in fact that I gave up for a long time, as I began to unnerve myself by the sheer accuracy of my readings! As I type this I have been a card reader for over twenty years. I read oracle cards as these are the cards which speak to me. The oracle decks I work with are the ones which choose me, as I always feel an inner voice shouting out to me when I see a new deck which is ready to push its way into my all ready crowded drawer of decks. Everyone is different and with this in mind I like to give a choice as to which deck I use as a part of the service & at no extra cost, these decks include many different types from Wisdom Of Avalon, Angel & Fairy decks, to many of the Doreen Virtue decks which are popular with many people. Email readings are better for you the client as you get to keep a copy of your reading to read again as often as you like. All readings will be sent as word text attachments showing illustrations of the cards used in the actual reading. and not simply written into emails. The illustrations can be further used for contemplation & meditation. In order to read for each person I tune into their energy and in doing so will pick up further information which is outside the scope of the cards themselves, making each reading as unique as you are. I live by the sea on the North Yorkshire coast with my gorgeous husband Phil AKA the Good Vibes Guy Shamanic Life Coach, and our 3 beautiful children. I love watching the sea and sky change colours, and the seasons passing bringing their own unique beauty. The sound of our children laughing, I love playing in the first fall of snow ... the first flowers of Spring ... walking hand in hand through warm Summer rain with my love ... running naked through huge loud crashing thunderstorms ... hugging trees and listening as they impart their wisdom ... I live my life synchronistically intune with the universe respectfully and gently nurturing our beautiful world in magickal ways ... I love the beach at sunset, the scent of sun warmed wild roses enveloping us as we scramble down the cliff to the sea .... collecting shells, pebbles and driftwood. I watch in awe as the sea and sky change through a kaleidoscope of colours, following the seagulls as they chase shafts of sunlight streaming through foaming surf creating a shore line of iridescent rainbows. Chasing our lengthening shadows by the setting sun. Swimming lazily along the silver path of the moon drawn to dreams of a faraway Utopia. I love candle light, being read to and serenaded ... there is nothing more romantic. I love to surround myself with beautiful, happy, confident souls. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, from all walks of life, and sharing in a little of their lives. Waking up beside the love of my life is the best part of my day, laughing until I cry, hugging, kissing, flirting, holding hands, telling those who I hold dear how much I love them fills my life with indescribable joy. Music is food to soul, I adore music and couldn't imagine my life without it. I love listening to all different kinds especially the weird and wonderful and am always open to anything new! I am drawn to music that really moves me, tears me apart, inspires or uplifts me. For as long as I can remember music has affected me deeply on so many levels, I have a particularly strange quirk that goes by the name of Synesthesia, I can literally taste music, I see the colours of the vibrations created by the notes as they dance over each other, I see pictures in my mind Clairvoyantly, sometimes I see the work in progress at other times I feel the emotions, thoughts and images of the artist and their life. Its not something I seek voluntarily as this would be to me an invasion of their privacy, its just something that when I'm very intune happens from time to time. Sadly very few artists can satisfy my musical needs, only those who truly tear themselves apart and create with their very souls steal their way into my heart... Reading, I love books I can learn and grow from. I have enjoyed reading since I was a small child. I love the magic of escaping to another place and time, becoming a different person for a few hours, shutting the rest of the world out. I first read Laurie Lee's As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning when I was about 11 and was instantly captivated and most definitely bitten by the travel bug, although it would be a few more years before my dreams became a reality. The way he described his adventures I truly felt as if I were there walking in his footsteps. It had such a huge impact on me I love encouraging others to carry out my wild, wacky schemes lol I love stretching boundaries, tearing down walls, thinking outside the box, Being a muse and inspiring others. My glass is always 1/2 full ... Love Raine x
