This large English cooking apple is excellent for baking, and cooks down to a light, sweet, delicately flavoured puree. It was unsprayed this year, and as you can see was subject to considerable apple maggot damage. It seems to be quite resistant to scab, however. I put some in the bottom of the fridge, and they rapidly deteriorated - seems not to keep well at all
