Just wanted to applaud Claude's good work here and bring this concept to the
surface anew. What an incredible opportunity for us as growers to compare field
notes on the varieties we grow. Check out the Fruit
Wiki sometime soon. Click on a variety which you now grow. Go below and add
your own perspective on how that apple does in your orchard. Beautiful!

I did some updates in the Wiki, many photo links did not work anymore, so I
have incorporated them in the pages. I have noticed quite a number of
interesting new comments. Let's keep on... this is what will make this wiki
useful.

Major update of the Apple variety wiki these last days. All varieties were
edited, the comments were brought in the main part and almost all now have a
picture in the main page! This was triggered by a modification in the comment
system made by the grou.ps team. A few comments (done within the last 2 weeks)
might however have disappeared due to their new system - if it is the case of
one of your comments, please don't blame me! I remember in particular a comment
I saw, I think by CJ, which isn't there anymore - please post it again... As
mentioned in the Wiki home page, you may either use the Comment feature of the
forum or make an edit of the wiki page, adding your comment. Do as you feel
more at ease. It is more useful if you add your climatic zone and region with
your comment.
