Canadian scab resistant apple, bred in Ontario and released in 1978, McIntosh x DG 22-81 (Jonathan x F2 26829-2-2, a scab resistant selection that provided the Vf gene of resistance). Small to medium size, a very pretty apple but the flavor is avereage. A favorite with the children as they look so nice and are just the right size (i.e. small). I get 90% of perfect apples in a no-spray orchard. Good productivity, starts fruiting quickly, and a nice trouble-free apple. All in all, quite recommandable.
