This apple stays small in my orchard (about 2 to 2-1/4 in), but the flavor is fabulous, like a candy, full of sugar with a good acidity. I have one tree on Beautiful Arcade rootstock with an interstem of Ottawa 3, planted in 1997. This tree is not very vigorous and branches have broken quite easily under snow or because of racoons. It started fruiting very quickly in 2000. A graft I have in another tree does better.

This apple is the best tasting of the scab resistant McIntosh-type apples that I have tried.
