Hi, everyone. First of all, if you read my group chat, this message is pretty
much the same but I said there that I did not know how to find out where to
post. I found it. It took me a while, but I did find it so if you were going to
help with tech stuff, no need on this one. BUT we do need technical support
because we have a number of things that we do not know how to do competently,
or at all, without that support. So if you are a tech person and can help us
get our internet radio show up and going, increase our on line efficiency
through satellite uplinks or whatever else we need (and can afford) and know
about that stuff, please let me know. Either write on my wall on this forum or
email me at releyes@gmail.com There is a great deal happening here at the
Valley of the Moon. First of all, Felix arrived yesterday evening and so did
Lennox and Janet so we have a number of new people here with new skills and new
talents. That is very exciting. The Government of Panama is making our lives
exciting, too. We have been given the responsibility of turing the entire
cattle production, both dairy and beef, from chemical/drug based, to organic.
Of course, that requires a tremendous amount from us and we are eager to have
all of you come as soon as you can to work on the huge number of tasks and
opportunities we have because of this. releyes: It does not matter if you are a
vegan, a vegetarian or a fruitarian: this is an important part of the economy
of this country. Right now, there is no clean beef and, sad to say, there is
next to no clean milk. Yes, I know that pasturized and homogenized milk is a
junk drink. But clean, pure raw milk is medical gold. Aside from that, all of
the chemicals are devastating the environment and we can reverse that. In
addition, one of the reasons that people decry the raising of cattle is that
they use land inefficiently. We now see about 1 head of cattle per hectare
(2.45 acres) per year. Using our technology we can do much, much better than
that, going from that number to probably about 7 - 10 cows per hectare per year
without degrading (and, quite the contrary, increasing) the quality of life for
the cattle. This is pretty amazing. We came here to, first and foremost,
reclaim the production of food for farmers and non farmers. Little did we know,
of course, that we would be creating a safe haven for the coming US cataclysm.
We are doing both. We came here to, first and foremost, reclaim the production
of food for farmers and non farmers. Little did we know, of course, that we
would be creating a safe haven for the coming US cataclysm. We are doing both.
releyes: We are looking for volunteer hands, hearts and minds, as you know, and
looking for Beneficial Interest Certificate holders to make it possible for us
to have our own farm large enough to do all the things that we want to do here.
If you are ready to come as a sustaining volunteer, you are welcome. releyes:
The volunteer house is lovely, fully furnished, in easy walking distance from
the VotM Headquarters and ready for you. Also, and this is quite important, I
need the next person who is coming to pick up something that I need in the US
and bring it here for me. If you are coming in the near future, please send me
an email at releyes@gmail.com and let me know your travel plans so that we can
work this out. Many thanks and see you soon, Dr. Rima
