Create a Group
Using the GROU.PS platform, you can create online social networks in a flash. To get started, just follow the short and simple steps in our wizard to begin forming your community, beginning with a title and description, and basic privacy settings.
Customize look and feel
You can choose one of over 70 templates that we've already got ready for you -- and what's more, each of these templates are fully customizable. This means that you can adjust colors, fonts, transparency, custom banners, backgrounds, and more -- there are no limits to how you can shape your network.
Post content
Our user-friendly tools make it easy to publish content on your site. From your own Wiki to photographs, videos, forums and blogs, it only takes a couple of clicks for you to generate well-presented, attractive content in your group.
Invite friends
Spread the word about your new group using our email invitation tools, which allow you to let the people on your existing contact lists know about the new social network you've created. Whether your group is for friends, family, coworkers, or the general public, you can advertise your community's presence and boost member activity and engagement.
Manage members
The User Management section of your administrator's dashboard enables you to find and contact your members quickly, and gives you the ultimate control in monitoring members and their activities. You can set membership in your group to be open to all, moderated, or invite-only -- it's up to you.
Setup Roles & Delegate
You can split up the task of managing a large group efficiently by defining and assigning 'roles' to some of your members. This will give them extra control over the areas of the site that you want them to be able to administer (such as discussion forums) -- relieving the load on you as the group founder but still allowing you to have the final say when it comes to major decisions in your community.
Moderate content
You can require that certain types of content be approved before becoming visible on your site. Your members will be able to upload items like Calendar Events, Photos and Wiki pages to the site, and these will be routed to your moderation panel, where you can approve or reject each submission.
Monetize
If you'd like to generate funds using your site, take advantage of built-in GROU.PS configurations for Google AdSense and PayPal to monetize your community quickly and easily. You also have the option to use other ad providers by adding their code in an HTML box in your group.
