The Marriage Consultation Workshop

The Marriage Consultation Workshop provides a forum for couples and singles who are interested in marriage to develop the skills, attitudes, and character capacities necessary for creating healthy, happy, and effective marriages. In Fall 2008, Dr. Jason Combs began a series of free monthly four-hour workshops in which participants learned how to increase their ability to unify with their spouses or significant others through collaborative and systematic study of two bodies of knowledge: the authoritative writings and guidance of the Baha'i Faith and theories and research from the social sciences. The central premise of these workshops is: the unity that spouses can create is the foundation for their effectiveness in achieving collective outcomes. This site presents the materials from these workshops and provides a virtual space for people interested in Dr. Combs' workshops to interact with each other about the concerns and challenges they face in their relationships in their everyday lives.
