Haultain Community School

We are the exciting grade 5&6 class of Haultain Community School. We love to be active learners and explore the world around us. Our favourite part of school is being part of collaborative projects and working with other classes. We have fish, worms and lots of plants in our classroom. We sit at tables so we can work on projects and help each other learn. We're very lucky to have MacBooks and a SmartBoard in our classroom to help us learn about and connect with the world. We can't wait to show you what Canada looks, our celebrations and what it means to be Canadian.

I want to participate on this program, but do not know much about it.
Hi Govinda, In this project your students would create scrapbook pages to showcase your community. You could create pages about celebrations, culture, geography, landmarks and the people in your community. I am creating a working page on: http://globalscrapbook.wikispaces.com/ to post our work. We will be starting next week. Add your contact and school information to the pages on New School.

take care
Kimberly
Hoping to join this project. I teach grades 4-9 at a small independent school in western Massachusetts, US. I would like to have my 6th graders get involved with this project.
Hi, I approved your membership to the wiki on wikispaces. I'm adding content so we can get started next week. Let me know if you have any ideas to add! take care,
Kimberly
Lisa Casey and her excited group of 6th graders here! Can't wait to collaborate again on one of your fabulous projects! We are going to brainstorm today and start collecting some info and ideas from the kids.
