Basic Evolution Levels & Moves Guide (Abridged)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is an abridged guide to display basic information on Pokemon that you are likely to catch until you reach Brock. This guide will NOT show all capture locations, evolution stages, and movesets; henceforth the emphasized term, "abridged." The list of moves may go up to Level 30 or higher, if needed. Locations will only go from Pallet Town up to Pewter City. Any other information is your responsibility to find out.
*For extended information on evolutions and moves, look here at the World Pokedex at http://blog.playerdex.com. You may also look at http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/ or http://www.psypokes.com/dex/index.php for information based on the Handheld games.
**Read this to learn how to edit your Pokemon's moves manually.
**Any moves highlighted in RED is glitched and rendered useless.
***You may notice that each Pokemon here only has one elemental type. That is because PWO did not properly program dual-type Pokemon so they will only be categorized into one type each.

FAQs
- My Pokemon did not learn a move I want! What shall I do?
You can teach your Pokemon manually using http://playerdex.com/old. Read this for more details.
- I want to get my Pokemon to learn a move faster but I do not want to stop its evolution. I am afraid it will be even weaker if it evolves later than its "evolution level." Is this true?
No; in fact, it can be much better for your Pokemon if it evolves later. Some Pokemon (such as stone evolvers) actually need to delay their evolutions in order to learn better moves. Example: A Growlithe needs to be trained to Level 49 in order to learn Flamethrower, which an Arcanine does NOT have the same opportunity to learn. Delaying an evolution can also be beneficial to training; most of the time, unevolved Pokemon take less Experience Points to level up and that alone can speed up your training. As soon as your Pokemon evolves, its stats will change according to its species' set Base Stats so there is nothing to worry about. The only disadvantage in preventing your Pokemon's evolution is that it may be less prepared in heated NPC/PvP battles.
