North of Viridian City is the Viridian Forest. Full of Mystery and.... bugs! Not just any bugs! Weedle, Caterpie, Metapod, Kakuna, Ledyba, Butterfree, Beedrill, and Spinark! Of course dont forget our friend Ratatta.
There are some Horribly Rare Pokemon in this forest that only a few lucky triainers will be able to catch :
Pikachu
Pinsir
Scyther
Even if you are not planning to use these Poke's in the future, catch them and when you get 100 rep you can sell them for lots of PokeDollars or trade for Pokemon that you want.
