After you evolve a pokemon with a stone, it will stop learning new moves except from the ones listed.  Please be aware of this when you make your decision.  A GM or DEV will not revert your pokemon back to its pre-evolution state if you are unhappy with it after it has after it has evolved.  (You can purchase moves on the Playerdex in exchange for Pokemoney once the pokemon is at the level where the move would normally be learned.)

Fire Stone

Evolves:

  • Growlithe
  • Vulpix
  • Eevee

Known Glitches:

  • Doesn't evolve Eevee

Growlithe:

Ideally you may want to evolve it at level 49 so that it can learn all of its moves.  Once it evolves go to the Playerdex and teach it Extremespeed.

Vulpix:

If you want to learn Spikes and Spike Cannon, evolve it at level 35.  Otherwise, evolve it after level 50 (when Shellder learns Ice Beam).

Staryu:

If you want Confuse Ray then evolve it at level 32 otherwise evolve it after level 46 to enable it to learn Hydro Pump.

Leaf Stone

Evolves:

  • Gloom
  • Weepinbell
  • Exeggcute
  • Nuzleaf

Gloom:

Since both Gloom and Vileplume learn Petal Dance at level 44, evolve Gloom after level 35 when it learns Moonlight.

Weepinbell:

Victreebel will not learn any new moves, so do not evolve Weepinbell until after level 54 when it learns Slam.

Exeggcute:

If you want Stomp and Egg Bomb, evolve at level 18. If you want Solarbeam, evolve after level 43.
