8. Pewter City + Brock
To reach Pewter City, you will need to travel through the Viridian Forest. In this forest is a load of Bug Cather NPCs which is perfect for training the starter Pokemon you chose as your Partner for your PWO Journey.
Pewter City is your first goal in PWO. In this city you will find tons of new Trainers just like you and your first Gym Battle is located here.
Before you enter the Gym make sure you are ready for the battle. You cannot battle the Gym leader again for 24 hours if you lose. Brock is not easy. If you Start out with a Squirtle or Bulbasaur, you will have a good chance of passing him. If you did not, there are other Pokemon you can catch to help you defeat him. Here is a list of my recommended Pokemon-
Squirtle [Starter]
Bulbasaur [Starter/Catch in Secret Area 1]
Caterpie [Evolve into Butterfree]
Mankey [Fighting type Pokemon]
These Pokemon are good their Their Defense, as well as attack.
