Zinc oxide

HOW TO USE: Apply a generous amount of medication to the affected area of skin as often as needed, or as directed by your doctor. For external use only. Avoid getting this medication in the eyes. If redness, irritation or itching continue, or your condition worsens or does not improve, notify your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

SIDE EFFECTS: This medication is generally well tolerated when used as directed. There are no reports of any side effects due to the use of this medication. However, if you experience any unusual effects while using this medication, notify your doctor.

Titanium oxide

Titanium dioxide occurs in nature as the well-known naturally occurring minerals rutile, anatase and brookite. The most common form is rutile[1], which is also the most stable form. Anatase and brookite both convert to rutile upon heating.[1] Rutile, anatase and brookite all contain 6 coordinate titanium. Additionally there are three metastable forms produced synthetically and five high pressure forms.

The naturally occurring oxides can be mined and serve as a source for commercial titanium. The metal can also be mined from other minerals such as ilmenite or leucoxene ores, or one of the purest forms, rutile beach sand. Star sapphires and rubies get their asterism from rutile impurities present in them.

On wedenesday, August 6, 2008, I was at Muvico in West Palm Beach.  The Sephora store is just outside the exit.  I went in and bought the matching natural mineral foundation.  I can not wait to get dressed up and put on my natural Sephora face!

DETOX you asked for it and you got it

The most important factor in detox is cleaning your organs. Colon, Kidney, Liver, Skin, Resperatory and Blood.

Basically a good detox should include water, (plenty of water), juice, psyllium and bentonite. For people who have never had a detox, I recommend getting a box of ingredients labeled cleanse or detox from Wholefoods or any health food store. A detox that is not too restrictive will allow you to eat fruit and vegetables with no alchohol or chemicals.

Highly restrictive detox diets such as Water fasting or the Master Cleanse are not the safest. Sudden changes in diet have been linked to fainting and other medical issues. It is therefore of utmost importance to gradually introduce the dietary changes, especially if they are extreme compared to the present diet. Fasting should never be undertaken without a proper understanding of its procedures, and long-term changes to the diet should always include a balance of the nutrients needed for the sustenance of the human body - carbohydrates, protein, unsaturated fat, vitamins, minerals and water. The same is advisable for any diet, cleansing or otherwise, in order to maintain optimal health.

A Healthy Choice To-Do List

Wondering what items might put you at risk?

Do:

* Stop smoking and avoid working in smoke-filled locations.
* Limit your alcohol consumption. According to the Journal of The American Breast Cancer Association, breast cancer risks increase proportionally with the amount of alcohol you drink.
* Eat at least five servings or more of fruits and vegetables every day.
* Reduce your fat intake from sources like fried foods, red meat, baking, dairy and eggs.
* Consider fish as a good alternative to chicken and beef. It is high in omega-3 fatty acids (especially salmon).
* Include unsaturated fats in your diet including extra-virgin olive oil and flaxseed oil.
* Include high-fiber fruits and veggies in your diet.
* Avoid caffeine. It has been linked to fibrocystic breast symptoms.
* Get plenty of exercise. 20-30 minutes per day can do wonders for your health and well-being.
* Learn to relax, meditate, and reduce stress.
* Speak to your doctor about proper breast self-examination techniques.
* Get a mammogram every year if you are over 40.

* Forget how important your life is. With special attention and care, you can make smart lifestyle choices that can help prevent breast cancer.
