Another Week

We did a pretty massive update on the website this week. I'm still
reeling from it. It looks a lot better and now there are a lot of link problems
and our advertising system is currently screaming at me from somewhere in a
toilet bowl.

I mean its pretty exciting when I have to make special error pages just
because I am getting pissed off at seeing the ones that pop up.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it though. We now have our software
installed on the server to start selling products and things even if the
website currently isn't hosting our store. Besides that I am really
looking foward to seeing what the auction site does. could be fun and
finally have a cheap place to sell old magic cards, lol.

God my brain hurts.

Weekly blog

We've been a little slow this week on doing some of the website updates. There
really isn't a web person, which tends to mean I some how end up doing most of
it. Paying someone to do the website isnt really on the list right
now. And well... its not always one of my priorities. Anyway
working on some videos and stuff to put on the website and have a little more
for people to see and do. Should be pretty interesting. All of the
artists are running every way including sideways to try and make more content
for our web pressence that and there is a big company push right now to try and
lure some investors to the ByteEye cause. On that note we are working on
a few deals that might help everyone out.. but nothing is far enough along yet
to spill any details so im going to hold off on that.

Sunday no Day

Sunday is my slowest production day so going to take a
moment to work the good ol’ blog for minute. I’m still
definitely the coolest kid under the doormat as I’m the only blogger...
“muhahaha”. The audacity of some people… Andrew our manager
tried to get me to write a blog for him. So not going to
happen; husband or not you are on your own. Currently we are
working on integrating our zone layout for the new engine.
It should be done this coming week, though probably not going to post any pics
of anything until we finalize the deal with the Unigine
guys. Last thing we need is some license issues and they are
very cool. I’m pretty impressed with it though, the
flexibility of the new engine is much more impressive than what we were using
before so Downtown Aspiria will be looking better and probably have an improved
frame rate. We still are going to have to determine a few
tricks here and there to try and squeeze as much performance out of the zone as
possible but so far I’m drooling. Ran a test on my station
and when the FPS hit somewhere around 999… I had to start holding back tears
and think about how much of a nerd I might be.

The battle of the lame

We continue to work on GroundWars, I realized today that I'll probably
really stink as a player. Which is exciting, I don't do well at games
like counterstrike and call of duty I might as well wear a target on my head in
GroundWars and just carry a "shoot me" sign instead of a weapon. It will
be great when we can work on more of an RPG kind of game so I'm not completely
terrible at it.

Added a bunch of stuff today.. so have fun looking if thats your thing.
