Planet Ash'ourreh


Crystal Rain

The planet's atmopshere fickles and tickles, condensing the energies of the surrounding storm waves. The resulting reaction causes xeber-cett crystals form up in the atmopshere and rain down on the planet.

Effect: At the start of each game turn, roll a D6. If it is a 6, then an objective marker is added on the battlefield. Scatter 4D6" (reroll hits) from the table center and place the objective. This objective is of equal value as the other objectives on the battlefield. If the mission objective is kill points, then claiming this objective counts as 1 kill point. Consequent rolls of sixes may cause more than one objective to be added during the battle.

War on Both Sides

The planets in the system turn in an axis in such speed that only one side of their surface looks to the sun at any time. The terraforming machines and other happenings on the planets however fiddle with the axis and the spin-speed of the planets, and cause ruptures in the whirlpool. This causes the planets to sometimes rotate faster, and bring light or darkness to the places where it was never seen before.

Effect: Roll D3+2 at the start of the battle. After playing that many game turns, the battlezone will turn dark, and nightfight rules will apply.

Reverse effect: The first D3 game turns of the battle will be played by Night Fighting rules.
