There should be elements like, alot. Like, the ones from pokemon. Normal
element would be like it doesn't have an element. There wouldn't be a fighting
or bug element. Flying would be wind. Ect. But anyways... There would be
a system like, you would have elemental attack and elemental defense, and all
of them would start at 100%. Maybe some buffs, equips, or maybe traits (See my
trait tree post) give like, a percentage to one of the elements in either
attack or defense. So, you get a fire sword. Now your element attack has 50%
fire in it. 50% of the attack is fire and the other % is normal. So, let's say
you attack something that doesn't have any altered elemental defense. You do
normal damage. You attack something that has 50% fire defense. You'd do half
damage. You attack something with 0% fire defense. You'd do 1.5x damage. Kinda
like that.
