NEW MESSAGE BOARD Due to various problems & frustrations with this Forum - especially the fact that some folk are unable to post any messages - a new Forum/Message Board is being adopted, and this one dropped, over the next few weeks. Here's the link to it - http://tattenhallrunners.proboards.com/index.cgi. So please bookmark the new board and start using it for new threads. There is a quick registration/login process before you can post messages but it's possible to read material as a guest.

Hi I am organising a Women's Bob Graham relay for next June 26th 2010 whereby a single or pair of women would run individual legs hopefully in 24 hours. I have already received lots of interest from those who want the legs! Please let me know if you would like to take part. There is also a 6 mile road section at the end and we need people to do road support. It would be brilliant if the hardy men could carry our bags & help with navigation on each leg. Sorry guys! Hope you can help. We are planning to have a meeting soon about it so will keep you posted! Prob have it after running session on a Thursday at the rec centre.

Hi everyone! We have 12 people who would like to run parts of the Bob Graham, which is brill! I'm thinking of organising a meeting next Thursday (12th Nov) in the bar at the rec centre after the training session. If you can't attend, please let me know and could look at another date. Mark, Simon, Ian, Pete, Paul & Dave - you are very welcome to join the meeting to help us organise it. Thanks for all your support! Jen

Hi Pete suggested that we should have a baton (mascot) to carry on each relay of the Roberta Graham and he thought of a Barbie fell runner! Hmmm! Any ideas welcome!

I think they'd be more comfortable with a familiar object-a designer handbag!
