I won't be running as am following in Alisons footsteps and doing Bala tri. I should imagine Rob will fancy it though.

Respect Jen! Good luck with Bala - it was tiring just watching it!

Its a bit of an annual event deciding whilst drunk at the running club party to undertake some silly running / triathlon type activity the following year!

Good to see bags of enthusiasm for the Castles!
Unfortunately I can't make it this year due to clash with a holiday.

I shall be there-Tim's navigator/relief driver I anticipate, as well as bacon butty chef etc

Great start with the number of interested runners, don't worry about a hilly leg Jane theres plenty of fast flat sections to do .If anyone has any questions however trivial then just ask any previous team members and it will be sorted, just remember we will be camping so try to tent share if poss to cut down on the stuff Tim has to get in his van.If anyone still has last years drivers notes which should be about thirty pages thick then can i have them back to cut down on the copying.Thanks.

E-maii from Helen simpson

Hi Andy,

Hope you and the family are all well. Ian would like to take part in the Welsh Castles Relay this year please. He has requested a Saturday morning stint if possible please. I think he intends to travel from home that morning and return again after doing a bit of cheering on the roadsides!

Thanks

Helen

We're in!
Brilliant! Just 3 months to go to the Castles 2010. Time for the bargaining over who does which leg to begin! And time to get Philippa out ... Hope she survived the winter??

Been checking my inbox for the past week and at last the good news has arrived so now the hard work starts so please be patient whilst we [the commitee] sort out the arrangements etc.
If anyone else wants to run a leg then get your name down as we could still do with a few more reserves.
I,ll get Doc to give mouth to mouth with Phillipa to check her attributes are still in working order.

Isn't Nick the Phillipa expert? If he's not up to the task I'll check her credentials are in order.
