Hello! The annual Tattenhall Runners awards evening will take place on Saturday 22nd May. Could last year's prize winners, who have cups/trophies that are handed on each year, please get them back to me so they can be engraved ready for this year's celebrations. Most of the trophies are in for engraving now , just two forlorn items with 'no name yet' written on them ! They are the best all round road runners' trophy for male & female. All of you who ran a marathon in the last 12 months are eligible !!! Write down your marathon time, plus a time for ANY of the following races that you have run 5k,10k, half marathon, 5m, or 10m - in the same 12 month period, and email them to me ............... you have to be in it to win it !! To any of you 'undecided voters' who have not booked your places with Alison, please don't miss out on a fab evening, of good food, good humour, and celebration of running success. Just a reminder of the details for the awards night this saturday (22nd) at Willington Hall Hotel ,Utkinton, near Tarporley.

 

7 pm arrival for 7: 30 sit down meal followed by TR in house entertainment and presenting of awards! 

Dress: glad rags - an excuse (for the girls anyway!)  to get dressed up.

 

If anyone has not yet confirmed and would still like to come along pls let me know on this forum and I'll liaise with Willington Hall.

Yes, a nice evening and presentations, well done award winners !!

And big thanks to Dave and Rob for their excellent presentations and the hard work that went into it.

A great giggly evening, and agree with Nic, thanks Dave and Rob for the presentation and slide shows, its not easy to get up and talk when everyone is looking at you, I know I couldnt do it...Also thanks Alison for arranging the meal and venu ...and I am very impressed with your print out of everyones meal choices...beats my scribble on paper for the Telfords dinner and I even forgot to bring it along...

 

I also hope that those of you who stayed late have remembered that we are all doing a Chester Marathon Pub crawl....!!!!  26 pubs....date to be confirmed very soon......!!!!

  It was great being entertained by Rob & Dave - thanks guys.   I've also been watching Daves's stuff again on UTube .... it will bring a smile to your face, no matter how bad a day you've had !!

not that it's a competition, but at the moment it's only been viewed 36 times (and to be honest 6 of those were me checking it was working ok!) and frankly that's pretty poor, I mean for gods sake there's one of some kittens sitting on a hoover that's been watched 1.8 million times!!!

I think I've just increased the count but my problem is that out here in the sticks - miles from a phone exchange - the broadband is so painfully slow that youtube videos just don't stream and it could take me an hour each time I watch !
