Andy S might be there too, if I can arrange a lift from Malpas for him. I think we'll set people off in small groups about 2 minutes apart. If we get 40 runners and have groups of 4, then the first would start at 7:30 and the last would go at about 7.50, which would mean that we'd all be back by 8.30. To make it against the clock and harder to judge pace (and more like a time trial), I suggest we do not group people by similar pace, but have slower and faster runners going off together. It's the first time we've tried this, so we are open to suggestions. See you next week. Peter |

ActivityRank: 0 ok, I'm assuming the orders for curry are now all in and I'll be ringing the Village Indian tomorrow with the final numbers. Please can curry eaters bring £8 (preferably not everyone bringing in a ten pound note so change isn't a problem! ) I'll collect money as you come up and get your curry and take it down to them at the curry house after we've eaten. If anyone can bring a few plate and forks to help out with the catering that'd be really helpful!! Pete, does Andy Sudlow want curry? The final list is as follows: 1. Kathy Frankland 2. Owain Williams 3. Sharon Basford 4. Mark Smith 5. Alison Smith 6. Jen Chambers 7. Sarah Hammond 8. Steve Hammond 9. Rob Webster 10. Alistair McAuliffe 11. Kate Lightfoot 12. Grace Hart 13. ActivityRank: 0 Cheers! and thanks for helping out Sue, I thought we made good 'dinner-ladies'!! Steve Hammond paid in £8 to cover the 'mystery non-payment' and the chap at the Village Indian very kindly didn't charge us for Amanda's meal when I explained that she couldn't make it. Glad you enjoyed it. kathy |

As I’m sure you’re all well aware, the first race in the Tattenhall Runners Club Championship is on Thurs Sept 9th. It’s a Tattenhall-only time trial (4 miles) starting at 7.15 from the club.
The plan is to have a ‘Curry Night’ straight afterwards in the Rec.Club bar.
The Village Indian in Tattenhall are catering for us and Heli and I have organised the delivery of curry to the bar for any hungry racers who want it!
For the princely sum of £8 there will be onion bhajis, veg samosas, chicken sagwalla (medium), chicken pasanda (mild), vegetable bhuna (medium), pilau rice and naan bread - YUM!!!
We need to give numbers so they can cook and deliver enough to keep those that want it happy so please can you let me have names asap so I can confirm quantities with them. (Pay on the night and I don’t need to know which curry you like the sound of the best, they will do equal quantities of all 3!)
(I will also put this on Facebook and on the notice board at the club)
