ActivityRank: 0 Thanks Rob, sounds good to me, count me in. I'd prefer the 19th if theres a choice as i thought of doing the shorter Peris fell race on the 11th and am likely to be pooped on the 12th but if everyone else wanted the 12th then no worries |

An alternive for anyone who can't make
the 19th Sept and who wants to do a good 'supported' run on 18th is the LDWA
event taking place from Cilcain Village Hall; Open to Offas. There are 3
routes available; 30, 21 & 14 miles. It's essentailly a challenge
walking event but runners are allowed. The bonus is that there are 3
checkpoints with food and drinks, tea & toast at the start, and a meal at
the funish all for a modest entry fee. See
http://www.ldwa.org.uk/challenge_events/show_event.php?event_id=6705 |

ActivityRank: 0 Just a quick line to endorse Paul's message about Open to Offas - Sarah & I did the 14 mile event a couple of years ago and we can highly recommend it - it's a good route, very sociable at the food & drink stops and incredibly good value! |

ActivityRank: 0 Had a think on a start time for the 19th and 10am from the candle factory seems the most sensible time to give us a chance of getting cars to both Delamere and Frodsham for returns at the ends of both legs. We need drivers who are willing to leave cars
at these points and then get to the Candle factory for the start so i'll look
who's doing which leg then work out how many cars we need then post the
logistics here. , |

ActivityRank: 0 please can I join in the logistics and also leave my car in Frodsham? Karl is doing the Chain Reaction Cycles 75km mountain bike marathon in Ruthin in the morning and I'd like to try zoom back to be at the finish line for him if i can |

Does anyone from Chester need a lift to the Candle factory for 10am ? Or via Delamere to drop a car ? If necessary, I expect Simon couild pick up from Delamere, if no one is taking a car there. Sue |

Sue - Jamie is also coming along on Sunday now so we will have a car. We
could meet up with you at Delamere and then take one car to the Candle factory?
If so what time should we meet at Delamere? |

ActivityRank: 0 I,ve had to change the logistics slightly as Kath Stott has got a kiddies sleepover to oversee on the Saturday night. Grace,Sharon 'Basher' Basford,Kath Frankland and me will drive to 'Beacon Hill' at Frodsham where Sharon,Kath and me will leave cars and Grace will drive us to Delamere to meet up with the two Ali's ,Grundy and McCauliffe and Sue Ellis at Barnes Bridge car park,Grace and Ali Mc will leave their cars there for the end of leg return journey and we will go to the candle factory in Ali Gs and Sues cars for a ten oclock start. Timetable as follows. 845 leave my house with Grace and Sharon. 900 get to Frodsham.(Beacon Hill car park) 930 get to Delamere (Barnes Bridge car park) 1000 start from Candle Factory. |

Thanks Alex,if you could also leave your car at
Delamere then it would be big help. |

Kate Lightoot and Kath Frankland have asked me to sort out a trial run for the above race and thought it would be good to do the Beeston to Frodsham section of the trail as its not very often that we run that bit, i was thinking of either Sunday the12th or 19th of September with a start time to be arranged.
All are welcome but anyone wanting to just run to Delamere could be accommodated, reply here or put your name down on a list i will put up at the club
