If you had wanted to buy a home in Box Elder County Utah last month you would have been in luck because there was 360 homes for sale in Box Elder during February, so lots to choose from. If you were wanting to sell a home in Box Elder on the other hand you wouldn't have had as much luck. During February there was only 25 homes sold in Box Elder. That means that less than 7% of the homes for sale in Box Elder were actually sold. January also only had 25 homes sold throughout the month.

During December there was 45 homes sold so the New Year had a decline in home sales. Even though home sales have declined from previous months, this February has been slghtly better that February of last year which had only 22 home sold.

Even though Februarys homes sales were the same as January, the sales price of homes aren't. During February both the average and median sales price was higher. Januarys average homes sales price in Box Elder County was $149,900 and in Febrary it was $156,000.

Last year March was consistent with January and February 2009 with only 22 homes sold, but hopefully, this March will be an improvement from the previous months.
