This is truly education, not just for care providers and expectant couples, but as a prime example of utilizing video to demonstrate concepts. I am managing a project to encourage the use of video modeling with autism education. Your clip will will certainly have an impact on caregivers, allowing them a perspective on the impact video can have on Spectrum children.
Thanks for your comments Michael. I am pleased that you find the video both useful and important. While it clearly is designed to inform people of one of the outcomes of our SLENZ project, it was also intended to be a tool for rural student midwives who were unable to access Second Life itself due to bandwidth issues but who we felt could still benefit from having a video experience of it. Nice to feel that we had a minor success at least! Thanks again.
A major part of my effort for the video modeling project is to get people to truly understand how important VM can be for people with autism. I am keenly aware of the visceral reaction all people have to video. Your clip is a well done, managing to be both entertaining and informative on a topic very dear to all parents. I know the gut reaction my readers will have to watching your videos. They serve as a perfect example of what I am trying to convey.

SLENZ is a wonderful project that is bound to be highly successful. If this was an original concept with SLENZ, it is sure to be ground breaking Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I wish you the best of luck
