Debunk Paranormal

First I will say the the Ovilus states right in the Instructions it is for entertainment purposes only. I won't say anything about a franks box, as most of the people using them aren't using them correctly. I have yet to hear anything that i would say is paranormal on the testing I have seen. Next there is the puck, I haven't tested this yet but it looks promising. Also experiment with real time evp using the ECM communications modes. Watch the energy in the environment as it changes real time! The Puck turns your pc into a paranormal power house. I personnally recommend the Olympus DS30 and DS40, they are stereo and allow headphone listening while your doing your evp work.$110- $140 range with some going for $70.00 on ebay. One of the newest and my next purchase will be a Samson Zoom H2, these are awesome recorders and record in quad. They come with a stand so you can set it in the center of a room and cover all directions at once. They come with 512 meg card but will take a 16 gig card. This is great if you have a few investigations back to back and don't have time to review your evidence. These are a bit more expensive in the $170. to $200.00 range. Zoom also has an H4 model at $299.00 The H2 and the H4 allow headphone use while using. The H2&H4 allows direct recording to your computer. The H2 and H4 records at cd quality.I will give a better review after I pick up one and use it on a few investigations. The H2's allow you to change frequencies so you are able to pick up things other recorders don't. There is no mistaking an EVP with this device. Oh I also like the built in effects for other purposes as well. Excellent for podcasts and a live mic too...and has built in equalizers. Zoom is a very excellent quality product in the music industry. Now I will point out how much better it is to set your recorder down while doing EVP work, this eliminates all the noise you make with your hand. I prefer to sit also as this eliminates noise from you and pant legs, shoes shuffling that can be mistaken for an EVP.Try and always back up your evp work with video, this gives you a reference if you do find something. By going to the video you can make sure it wasn't a person causing the noise. Now for software, Audacity is a free software for listening to evp's. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ I prefer adobe audition or the older cool edit pro.
