I think its wise to keep the DZI as small as possible since the XML file needs
to be completely loaded as a prerequisite for any activity on the image.
Another issue is that most copyrighted content owners would require at the very
least a copyright tag on each tile. Although this would add to the size of each
tile, there may not be a way around this. A possible compromise would be to
keep most of the metadata in a separate XML file alongside the DZI.
